There are approximately 63 million people with significant hearing loss in India. This makes auditory incapacities the second most common form of disability in the country. There aren’t that many facilities available to people with hearing impairments which can lead them to feel isolated. RHS Appoints Designer To Take Forward RHS Garden Bridgewater Vision

One of the world’s best landscape architects has been appointed to bring the lost historic grounds of Worsley New Hall back to life. Tom Stuart-Smith will create an overall master plan for the 156 acre garden to rejuvenate the site as part of the RHS Garden Bridgewater.   The English landscape architect has designed eight Gold medal-winning gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show, with three awarded Best in Show. A poem composed by Monton rhymer Jenny Berry which spells out the dangers of contracting flu and appealing for people to take up their free flu jab is being used in Salford this winter. Salford City Council and Salford Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are hoping the unusual approach will help spread the message and encourage take up of the vaccination.
